Kennedy running for selectman

davidkennedyKINGSTON- It’s not even Christmas yet, but that isn’t stopping Kingston Finance Committee-member David Kennedy from announcing his intent to run for selectman.

Kennedy informed KingstonJournal.com of his plans for the spring today via Facebook message.

“I will have a statement next week,” Kennedy said at the end of the message.

Kennedy has been a familiar face at the Kingston Town House in recent months and has spoken numerous times in favor of better regulating Kingston’s wind turbines.

Kennedy ran for a seat on the Board of Selectmen in 2011 and finished fourth behind Sandy MacFarlane, Ron Gleason and Dennis Randall with 332 votes.
