(NEW @ KJ.com) MOVIE REVIEWS: World War Z is ‘great’

worldwarzLately we’ve seen a huge spike in the zombie craze.

Television shows such as “The Walking Dead,” and hit video games like “The Last of Us,” are two great examples of how people can’t get enough of zombies!

Mostly because it poses many ethical questions such as; What would we be like if there were just a few of us left? How would we battle against such a catastrophe?

World War Z displays quite a different take on what would happen in the event of a zombie apocalypse. Brad Pitt steers away from his handsome muscle-bound typecast and plays a government investigator who is called upon to investigate this zombie virus, which seems to have taken the world over night.

This movie is a textbook thriller.

Half of the movie will have you in the edge of your seat while the rest will have you hiding behind your hands. I enjoyed how the storyline was original and didn’t copy those of other zombie movies/shows (except for the fact that there are zombies). There is no-stop action and a plot that will keep you guessing.

All in all, a great film. A-
